We are looking for a hardworking, passionate and empathetic manager to lead a large team in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has extensive specialty coffee knowledge and the confidence to lead a high-volume coffee bar both creatively and consistently. Leadership/training experience is a MUST as you will be scheduling, hiring and training a barista staff of 10-15 people on a regular basis.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Restaurant floor management (counter service + table service)
- Coffee program management
- Hiring and training baristas
- Updating menus
- Creating DELICIOUS signature beverages to be made across all locations. (changes seasonally)
- Creating and implementing standard operating procedures to accommodate ever-changing restaurant needs
- Giving and receiving direct feedback with kindness, dignity and respect.
- Working collaboratively with owners, managers and FOH staff
- Ordering supplies and ingredients for the coffee department on a daily basis
- Maintaining a highly organized space
